We all have tasks that we don’t want to do, or we don’t look forward to doing. But we also know that when we get these tasks done we are better off for it.
These tasks might be doing the laundry, washing the dishes, or cleaning the bathroom. They may be work related such as data entry, completing expense reports, or writing blog posts. They may be health related such as working out, eating your vegetables, or taking the stairs instead of the elevator.
All of these tasks people dread from time to time but they all have a payoff in the end. We all like to have nice clean things. We all have things to do at work that will help us get paid or lead to greater success. We all would like to be healthier and look better. Whatever your task is there is a mantra that will work for you.
My suggestion is this: don’t use a different mantra for each task you dread, instead use one general mantra that will work for any task that you may not like. Here is an example of a mantra to help you get through tasks that you may not like:
I welcome new challenges and hard work. I know that my diligence will help me become more successful and prosperous. I enjoy all tasks as they lead to more success.
